This one may seem like a “lay-up” but I bought my wife Laura flowers. I tend to be pretty good about buying my wife flowers for no particular reason, however there was special meaning behind these flowers. I bought them for her to thank her for her love and support during the weeks when we thought my father was so ill. There tended to be a pattern in the days after Dad’s diagnosis:
1. Go to work
2. Come home from work
3. Gripe to my wife about how it was unfair Dad was sick and generally dump everything I’d been feeling all day on her lap.
She’d listen, offer some words of support and give me a hug. Awesome.
