Today I had a great day of meetings up in Boston. I’d just wrapped up a fantastic morning meeting with an awesome company when I stopped off to grab some lunch at Joe’s American Bar & Grill . While in the restaurant I was able to work and really enjoy my lunch. The waiter that was taking care of me seemed like a nice guy. I saw a window to give my gift for the day. I payed the check with my corporate card – $18 lunch – I left him a $20 bill as a tip. I scooted out before he saw it. I loved giving this gift. There was something really fun about not even seeing his reaction, and just knowing that he would be fired up to get a nice tip on a slow afternoon in Framingham. Who knew gift giving could be so much fun?
