Today’s gift is one that I’d thought of a few days ago, however I wasn’t quite sure how to execute. Michele works at Starbucks. I’m in Starbucks 5 days a week. Michele is amazing, and always helps to start my day with huge smile, and a “Good morning Chris”! This isn’t any small feat. The Starbucks is on the corner of 60th and Broadway and I’m sure she sees many faces per day. She does her job well, and I wanted to recognize her for it. So I wrote a letter to Starbucks, went into the store yesterday, and handed it to a manager with the specific instructions that Michele deserved to be formally recognized for her excellent services to this customer. That felt AMAZING. Here’s part of the letter:
Dear Starbucks Manager:
This letter is to commend exemplary service I always receive from Michelle who works at the front desk of Starbuck on the corner of 60th and Broadway.
I come into Starbucks every morning to find Michelle greeting me with a huge smile. She always remembers my order, and always remembers my name.
I tell everyone who will listen how amazing she is. Needless to say, I believe she deserves formal accolades.
She consistently exceeds the level of service from your company, and I am quite pleased. I will be informing my friends and family about this experience and about Michelle specifically.
Sincerely,
Christopher Dessi
