A few gifts ago I donated to Memorial Sloan-Kettering via our CEO at Buddy Media Mike Lazerow. Mike was riding in the “Cycle for Survival Event” 
Mike blogged about the event shortly afterward. He spoke about his good friend Jen Linn who is a 4-time cancer survivor. Mike wrote:
She has been cancer free for a year. However, she told the participants today that she found out Friday that her cancer has returned and she is starting on chemo therapy on Tuesday to attack a 4-inch tumor in her stomach.
After this emotional recounting of the day I decided to follow up my donation with an additional $50 donation.
