I sat down in my seat on Metro North heading home when an older woman got on board. She was dragging heavy luggage behind her and looked tired.  Before she even attempted putting the luggage in the over-head I asked her if I could help.  She looked at me like she could have kissed me and said

“YES…it’s been a VERY long day”….
